The men's wedding lunch, set inside a بيت شعر. A shemagh drapes over the entrance on load, a gold khayamiya sun turns once every four minutes behind the invitation, and the page steps out into daylight for the mansaf before the footer takes you back in. Third of the set: same paper, ink and oxblood as the other two — flowers, thread, tent.

A formal men's-lunch invitation, reproduced as the printed card it was: one tall ivory column on linen, gilt rules down both edges, and antique gold as the only colour on the page. A single pass of gold foil crosses دَعْوَة on load and the engraving is drawn on line by line. No RSVP — the card stands alone.

The Sacred Garden after dark — the same wedding and the same type, set on deep indigo in gold leaf instead of on paper. A girih lattice comes up out of the night, a two-centred arch is drawn from its apex down both sides, and a field of stars resolves into a minaret once the lines between them land.

Graphic rather than painted: one stroke weight, brass on ivory, and not a single rounded corner or shadow on the page. A ziggurat arch builds itself up from its crown, the monogram is struck as a circle and the couple's initials set into it, and a deco sunburst fans out one ray at a time. The first invitation in the set to run left to right.

Almost no ornament — generous whitespace, one blush wash and typography doing all of the work. The only invitation here with no artwork at all behind it: no frame, no pattern, no icon set, not a single SVG. The wash drifts as you scroll and the story arrives a line at a time, five beats, one screen each.
